Privacy policy

Masify LLC ("Masify," "we," "us") builds AI receptionists and TapReview products for businesses. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it — whether you're visiting masify.io, calling a business line answered by our AI, tapping a TapReview stand, or running a Masify account.
The short version
- We collect what we need to answer calls, take bookings, and pass messages to the business you contacted.
- We share it with that business, because that's the point of the call.
- We use a small number of named providers to run the platform.
- We don't sell your personal information, and masify.io runs no analytics cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party trackers.
- You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
What we collect
If you call a business answered by Masify
- The audio of your call and an automated transcript
- Your phone number, from caller ID
- Anything you tell the receptionist in order to complete your request — your name, an appointment time, the message you're leaving, and an email address if you give one
If you tap a TapReview stand
- Nothing, if you simply pass through to leave a review. The tap forwards you and we don't record who you are.
- If you send private feedback: your message, your email address if you choose to give one, and the IP address the message came from.
- If you sign up to hear from the business: your email address, your phone number if you give one, the exact wording you agreed to, when you agreed, and the IP address you agreed from. We keep that record because it is the proof that you opted in.
If you're a Masify client
- Your account details — business name, contact name, email, phone
- Your settings — hours, holidays, booking preferences, transfer number, calendar
- Billing is handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
If you visit masify.io
- Whatever you type into a contact form
- Standard server logs, kept briefly for security
How we use it
- To answer your call, take your message, check availability, and book appointments for the business you contacted
- To text you about a booking you just made, or send a booking link you asked for
- To show that business a record of the call, including the recording and transcript
- To pass private feedback to the business it was left for
- To hand a business the list of customers who opted in to hear from them
- To keep the service secure, diagnose problems, and improve accuracy
We don't sell your recordings and we don't use them for advertising. Our AI provider processes them to deliver the service, under its own agreement with us.
Who we share it with
We share the details of your call, message, or feedback with the specific business you contacted — that's the whole purpose. We also use these providers to run the platform:
- Twilio — phone numbers, calls, and text messages
- ElevenLabs — the AI voice, and the recordings and transcripts of calls
- Google — data storage, account sign-in, and appointment booking in Google Calendar
- Railway and Netlify — hosting for our application and website
- Resend — sending email notifications
- Square — payments
Each processes information on our behalf under its own agreement with us. We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Marketing from Masify itself
When you sign up at a TapReview stand there's a second, separate box asking whether you'd like to hear from Masify. It's optional, it's never pre-ticked, and ticking one box doesn't tick the other. If you check it we add you to our own mailing list, and every message we send has an unsubscribe link. You can also email info@masify.io to be removed.
How long we keep it
- Call recordings, transcripts, and messages — while the business is a client, and for up to 90 days after their account closes
- TapReview signups — until you opt out or ask to be deleted. The consent record itself is kept as proof of opt-in
- Private feedback — 12 months
- Client account and billing records — 7 years after the account closes, for tax and accounting
- Website contact form submissions — 24 months
Your rights
Email info@masify.io to access, correct, or delete your information. We'll respond within 30 days.
Depending on where you live — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other states with privacy laws — you may have additional rights, including the right to know what we hold, to have it corrected or deleted, and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights. We honor those requests wherever you live.
If you're asking about a call you made to a business, we may need to check with that business first, since the record is theirs as much as ours.
Security
We use encrypted connections, access controls, and strict separation between businesses, so no client can ever see another client's calls. No online system is completely secure. If you believe your information has been exposed, contact us right away.
Children
Masify isn't intended for anyone under 16 and we don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version, and we'll email account holders if we make a material change.
