SMS consent & opt-in policy

How customers opt in
Masify provides AI-powered phone receptionist services on behalf of client businesses. When a customer calls a client's business line, Masify's AI receptionist may offer to send a text message confirming an appointment, booking, or follow-up summary of the call.
Consent to receive this text message is collected verbally, during the phone call, before any message is sent. No customer receives an SMS unless they have explicitly agreed to it on the call.
Verbal opt-in script
Near the end of a call where a booking, appointment, or follow-up is relevant, the AI receptionist asks a variation of the following:
The call proceeds to send an SMS only if the caller responds affirmatively. This exchange is captured in the call recording and transcript retained by the business for compliance purposes.
What customers receive
- Appointment or booking confirmations
- Follow-up summaries related to their call
Masify does not send marketing or promotional messages through this opt-in flow.
Opting out
Every message includes opt-out instructions. Customers can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving text messages. Reply HELP for assistance.
